Heat 3B – Joe McCord

Dave Villwock, Greg Hopp and Jeff Bernard were to make heat 3B one of the best heats of the day however Bernard could not get started and was not able to answer the gun. The U100 went dead in the entrance of turn 1 right before the start but got it relit. That left Hopp and Villwock to battle it out. Coming to the start Villwock appeared early on the clock, however it was a legal start and going into the first turn, Villwock pulled away and never looked back.  That gave him enough points to be on the front row of the final for the running of the Indiana Governors cup.
