Madison Regatta Incorporated is announcing today the signing of Lucas Oil Corporation, headquartered in Corona California, as Title Sponsor for the 2010 Madison Regatta to be held on the Ohio River in Historic Madison.

DETROIT----Dave Villwock (Auburn, Wash.) in his Spirit of Qatar unlimited hydroplane was the only driver in the 11 boat field to average above 160 mph on the 2.7 mile Detroit River course Friday to lead all qualifiers for this weekend’s 101st running of the Jarvis Restoration Detroit APBA Gold Cup.

Steve David began Saturday’s racing at the APBA Gold Cup with a strong first place finish in Heat 1C. He easily pulled Jeff Bernard in the U-5 Formulaboats.com.
