Looking to garner more race sites for the 2008 season, Rick Bowles has formed a group attempting to bring Nashville back for the 2008 circuit. Originally scheduled for early November in Nashville, TN, the event promised the attendance of at least the piston-powered U-3 Cooper Racing as well as the U-6 Oh Boy! Oberto Miss Madison. But due to coordination problems, organizers were unable to get the necessary pieces in place. They are hoping to get the boats at Nashville Shores next April.

Rick Bowles has formed Limited Liability Corporation, Boat Racing Nashville, LLC. and will be working with local officials to promote possible race in 2008.

Permits and paperwork are being completed now which will also help in the process for setting up races in the future.
