Hospitality Village Tent placement will be just
west of the Pit Area in a prime race-viewing
location.

This will be the 58th running of this event for the fastest race boats in the world in
Madison, Indiana. Termed the “Madison Regatta”, this three-day event, along with a
weeklong festival, attracts upwards of 50 – 60,000 spectators. It will be the second event
of the 2008 ABRA racing season for these boats that race deck-2-deck at top speeds of
200-mph on Regatta’s 2 ½ mile course!
In addition to the “Unlimited Hydroplane” action from above, fans will be able to see for the
second time the brand new boat from the hometown Oh Boy! Oberto / Miss Madison team and cheer them on with hopes of winning the Indiana Governor’s Cup Trophy like they did in 2001 and in the miracle win of 1971!!!
Additional events during the Regatta include the Midwest Tube Mills 2.5 Litre Inboard Racing Series, a Parade, Fantastic Grote Industries Air Show Displays, the American Legion Post No. 9 Patriotic 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, four nights of Musical Entertainment, Festive Foods and Interactive Exhibits, And Much More.
