H1 UNLIMITED ANNOUNCES FLEET FOR 2012 MADISON REGATTA
(Madison, IN) Madison Regatta Incorporated has received the updated list of Unlimited Hydroplanes scheduled to attend the 2012 Madison Regatta. Taryn Baze, H1 Unlimited official, confirmed in an email to Madison Regatta president Herb Parker that nine hydros have committed to the 2012 Madison race. Also noted were the inclusion of three ‘to be announced’ boats that are still preparing press releases to announce that they’ll be racing. There is also one potential additional team not included in this count. As it is updated the media will be advised. The hydros committed to date are:

May 10, 2012 - Also as of now the U-57 FormulaBoats.com and U-5 Grahm Trucking have been added to the fleet. There are two potential boats that could be added making this the biggest Regatta in years.
May 29, 2012 - H1 has confirmed the return of the U-13 Spirit of Detroit for the entire H1 circuit including the Madison Regatta. There still is one potential boat left lets cross our fingers and hope it makes it =)

Madison Regatta is in its 63rd year of hosting sanctioned boat races and over a 100 years of boat racing history in the city of Madison. We are on all volunteer organization that comes together to put on a show that is one of kind and can be enjoyed by everybody. Boat races, air shows, live music, fireworks, and vendors with great food and unique products there is something here for the entire family.
